Ah *ha* !

So "HTTP port" is to help make the '/traq/' page work, and 'Newton Port' 
is the port to talk to the tracker itself on or something like that ?

Setting both to 3680 as suggested has stopped the error slips appearing 
*and* I'm now listed on the NPDS tracker sites :)
