Hi everyone,
I am in the process of using up the remaining PCBs and build another 8 or so dongles. Three are already promised, so if you still want one, now is the time.
There will bo ne new V5/V6 dongles. The open source instructions stay online of course, so f anyone feels like spending their evenings soldering mini PCBs into Cheesburge-like stacks, you can still do that. All 3D printing files stay online as well, so you can print the jigs and the cases as well.
If I ever decide to build a V7 dongle, it would probably have BlueTooth and Wifi and a better power inverter, but that is currently not on the list.
For those of you who have dongles already, I released a new firmware, v0.7b. It's a beta version, so please let me know if you have issues downloading or installing, and be prepared to go back to the previous firmware version if anything goes wrong.
This a maintenance release with many subtle and less subtle bug fixes. The connection should be more stable, and if it does get interrupted, resuming should not require unplugging the dongle. No new features, no new LED colors:
