[NTLK] Best way to get pictures into an eMate?

Hi Alan.
I tried ClarisWorks (v4) too.
- I created a document in NewtWorks
- Synced via NCK2 (Mac OS 7.5.5)
- Opened the document in ClarisWorks
- Pasted in a PICT image.
- Synced back to the eMate.
The ClarisWorks document do appear to sync (NCK2 from Mac OS 7.5.5). However, they do not appear in NewtWorks for me.
However, if I save as PICT from ClarisWorks then these files do sync and appear in NewtWorks.
I can then edit the document in NewtWorks including resizing and moving the PICT image around.
Unfortunately it’s not working for my purposes as when I print (to a Laserwriter) the PICT drawing does not appear. The printed output only shows what I’ve created on the eMate.
Still it looks good on the eMate’s screen.
On the topic of wifi I’ve got an old Linksys WRT54GS running DD-WRT for a WEP network. It works fine for Appletalk with a Powerbook G3 “Pismo” running Mac OS9 (on a separate VLAN for security). I do have an Orinoco Gold PCMCIA card which I’ve read is compatible with the eMate. I’ve been meaning to test that it works but not got around to it yet. I will.
(I will send you the photo via Mastodon as attachments are stripped on this list).
Cheers
Chris

The trouble with this is to do this live, I’d need to have some sort of WPA only Wifi bridge to get to the web server, and I don’t know anything about that either. Does anyone know if there’s some sort of wifi-wifi bridge hardware out there that is Newton-friendly?
