Hi Alan,
Ideas on how you can get a newsletter like thing on a Newton to print with a printer:
1) Make a simple website, view with a Newton browser that can view pictures (Newt’s Cape/Luna Ranger/NetHopper) and the. Print the webpage? Big maybe on that one.
2) Make a NewtonBook in Newton Press, which can import picture files, and see If you can print the book?

No further forward, unfortunately. If I put a PICT into a Clarisworks document, it doesn’t sync over.
Next idea is to run a password-protected web server and use NewtWorks. I’ll try have a go with that this weekend - unless there are other ideas? The trouble with this is to do this live, I’d need to have some sort of WPA only Wifi bridge to get to the web server, and I don’t know anything about that either. Does anyone know if there’s some sort of wifi-wifi bridge hardware out there that is Newton-friendly?

Hi there everyone. I have a little proect I’m thinking about doing, but don't’ quite know where to start in one aspect of it.
I’m thinking about producing a old school newsletter for an event I’m going to (in a very limited run) on an eMate and Stylewriter 2200 with battery pack - writing like it’s 1997! The issue I have is how to transfer in images I want to use. This will need to be done in two phases - before the event and hopefully *during* the event.
I’ve found a site that dithers photos down to 1-bit pretty successfully, so getting things the right look and the right size is easy enough. But how can I transfer in (say) GIFs both beforehand jbut also at the event itself - where I won’t have a Mac with me? I will however have access to a web server. And Bluetooth OBEX.
How would people recommend I proceed?
Many thanks in advance for your ideas,
Alan Fleming.
