Patch 732000 is the latest patch for the eMate, see

I don't think NewtTest knows about non-Apple-released OS patches, nor is 
it possible to actually compare patch version using the original rules 
that Apple originally used (which are documented further down on part 2 
of the FAQ).

OS patches will persist even after a "brain wipe" reset like what you 
performed.  The only way to remove them is to either use a special 
software tool or to swap out the ROM card for one from a different 
language or device type (eg. swap an eMate ROM card with one from a 
2x00, or swap a German ROM card for an English one) per

You did the right thing, as often a reset will convince the eMate to 
start charging the battery, previously noted here:
