The dimensions on the new reMarkable Paper Pro Move are 4.24 inches x 7.7 inches by 0.26 inches, brings it just under the size of the Newton MessagePage 2000/2100 (8.3 x 4.7 x 1.1). You could stack four Moves to fit the volume of a 2000.

Most e-ink or regular tablets are wider like the iPad mini. 

Is anybody using a reMarkable for note-taking purposes? I use an iPad mini with an Apple Pencil, but I find the Notes app to be more finicky compared with the Newton version. While the handwriting recognition is much more accurate, I miss many of the Newton’s gestures for editing a single letter or displaying a popup of commonly used characters.

The reMarkable line of devices look to be more like a scribble pads that performs HWR in the background for search.
