[NTLK] Flash Storage card issues

I decided to test the flash storage cards I have received with various secondhand Newton’s over the years. Most of them keeping giving me the error below yet some of them clearly have backups and apps on them. Do I need to install a driver or something? I am trying to open them on an eMate.

Error = “Writing to this type of cards unsupported. This card can only be mounted read-only”
