[NTLK] Error with Sony power adapter SCP-114

As it was recommended in this list, I bought a (used) Sony SCPH-114 power adapter (European/German version) for my eMate. 

But now, when I start my eMate I get this error message: 

„POWER The adapter is providing too much power. The battery cannot be charged with this adapter.“

Does anyone know, what’s wrong? The orange light on the meat is on.
