[NTLK] Y2k25 bug fix - What is a casual user to do?

                As a long time lurker on this list who has kept a couple of
Newtons going for all of these years, but who hasn't connected either Newton
to another computer probably since I installed the Y2k10 fix those many
years ago, practically speaking, what do I need, and what do I need to do to
install the new fix?  I understand that I need to acquire the new patch.
But what cable and dongle(s) do I need to connect an MP2100 to a modern PC?
Is that even possible? And what software?  Does NCU work on a modern PC?  I
remember in the past having to run multiple versions of slowdown.exe so that
the PC could talk to the Newton.  But that was many generations of computers
ago.  I don't have a Mac.  How can I install this patch?  Thanks all for
