Success with my upgraded MessagePad 2000 patching 711000-1 to 712000-1 via Mail V and the InBox.

Procedure:
1) Backup to PCMCIA
2) Emailed Y2010 Diagnostic and the Patch (.pkg) to my Newton's InBox
3) Froze all packages accept Mail V 4) "Put Away" Diagnostic from InBox
5) Reboot
6) Cleared Alarms with Diagnostic
7) "Put Away" Patch from InBox

Patch reported success and rebooted after 5 seconds. Date after reboot was 1/1/2024 (Time base: 12/31/23 11:24 am). Able to set correct date and time, and send this email.
