Hmm, yes, the bad thing is that this happens to Einstein as well. But that's also a good thing, because I can now single-step through instructions and find out what exactly happens, and hopefully eventually fix this.

I will need a few more details.

So on Einstein, I get stuck with the logo up after the boot sound, and I can't do anything at all after that, not even change the time. The boot process gets pretty far, but it gets stuck in some Newton task that keeps triggering a memory violation or similar, probably something in the REx. 

Aaron, how does it behave on a real Newton MP? How were you able to get the time and dae changed? 

Grant, anything that may be different on your system? Different language, not in 2025 yet?
