Hi all,

Update:

After leaving the power to the eMate on for a long time, without the battery connected, the unit eventually showed the orange light, brought up the calibration screen and allowed me to push the power button for 30 seconds, keep it held down, press the reset button and keep the power button down for another 30 seconds then let it go to do an erase data reset. The chimes then worked at boot up with the initial green light going to orange but strangely staying orange ?? There also seems to be the occasional screen glitch but that doesn’t stay for long. I may have to just turn it on every day for the rest of its life I think to maintain some power level within some unknown part of the logic board. I can live with that 👍
