I wasn't expecting to say this, but, "I'm glad I hadn't finished
reassembling my eMate after the hinge repair!"

Unfortunately, there is a small heat shield soldered over the infrared
components, so no markings are visible. Sadly, even the eMate mainboard
scans are either with the infrared heat shield or without the actual
components:

I've been holding off on re-assembly while waiting for a new soldering iron
and some additional supplies. That said, I've got some other 12v automobile
soldering projects I need to perform today or tomorrow, so if I feel I can
safely desolder the infrared heat shield with my existing iron, I'll do so
and provide photographs.
