Meh, I soldered the DIMM sockets for the ROM programmer with solder paste, and SMT oven, and a stencil, and I still had lots of shorts. I am just too impatient for this stuff.

Thanks, I will look at the Xilinx chips. But then I am back to <rolleyes> hand soldering </rolleyes> them, as JLC does not have then in stock.
