[NTLK] My first Newton.

Hi everyone,

I recently watched the "Love Notes to Newton" documentary, which rekindled an old love I've had of the MP2000/2100 for decades. I got lucky and found someone selling a 2100 locally at a very reasonable price, and for the first time (after wishing for 25 years!) I have my first Newton.

Looking forward to catching up on 20+ years of Newton developments that I've missed out on. It came with a 56K modem and 4MB storage card, and I found a 3COM Etherlink III in my hardware stash... so hopefully it will be internet ready in a couple of days.

I'm so glad to see this list has continued for so many years with ongoing research and contributions. The searchable listserv archive has been invaluable to me for researching some of the basic questions.

ps: this has Royce Walthrop as a contact.. is that built into storage after factory reset, or do I have an old Newtontalk user's machine? :)
