I remember well our multiple exchanges on the subject....
But then again you have the problem back to 2008 when the Newton does a Soft Reset or when you change the batteries if it's not plugged in? Because the 71100 version which is actually the 71J059 version that Paul Guyot modified fixes this problem and many others. 
Did you try, after removing the patches with PatchRemover, to reinstall the 71100 patch, which can be installed over the 71J059 without removing it ?

je me souvient bien de nos multiples échanges sur le sujet…
Mais alors du coup tu as de nouveau le problème de retour à 2008 quand le Newton fait un Soft Reset ou quand tu changes les piles s'il n'est pas branché ? Car la version 71100 qui est en fait la version 71J059 que Paul Guyot à modifié corrige ce problème et bien d'autres. 
As tu essayer après avoir supprimer les patchs avec PatchRemover, de réinstaller le patch 71100, qui peut s'installer par dessus le 71J059 sans devoir l'enlever ?
