Hi Mark,

yes, you will be able to make blank Flash Cards, and then you can make a 
backup on your physical device and restore it to the virtual Flash Card. 
I will also (later) add functionality to Einstein to connect to a 
MessagePad via Network and then download the Flash Card in the other slot.

You can make as many cards as you like. It's probably bad to make cards 
larger than 32MB, or NewtonOS slows down a lot. Einstein will manage 16 
or so cards without problems. Cards are stored as a single file on the 
host, so you can easily back them up with the rest of your system.

It will work on MacOS, Windows, and Linux for sure (give it a week or 
two). It will eventually work on Android (that will be probably 3 months 
away). I can't give you an ETA for iOS. I am not maintaining that 
version. Technically, it's of course possible.
