I'm happy to chat about it. The new reality of bits == source code is wild and scary. I had no idea that Claude would be so successful if reproducing the Newton OS source code. Honestly I was expecting a horrible failure.

Victor, Matthias, in fact everybody,
It strikes me that this might be a good addendum to the Love Notes to Newton film, if you guys (and the progenitors of this new world of native ROM execution) want to do some short Zoom/other interviews on the subject. In one sense, this is what we wanted (Apple to release the ROM), and now we have it. But I know for you, Matthias, part of the fun was in the discovery and understanding of the device, so in that sense there’s no reason to be sad. Or is there?
I’ll have to go back over the discussion on this as it has been a whirlwind of activity, I’m in Calgary for one more night, Grant, if you want to try to do something in person. But it would be great to have a little documentary update of about ten minutes, about what this means for the future and past of Newton and the community. I think the “completion" of Einstein is one big deal, and the new possibilities of the native code are another. I’d be open to other perspectives, too.
