[NTLK] From Einstein to Newton via ATA Flash cards... There and Back Again

Good news everyone!    No, it really is good news this time.

In recent times Matthias Melcher added the ATA card support by
recognizing .dmg files made from the Mac Disk Utility.  Which you need
to change out the .dmg to .ata extensions.  I provided a video on how to
do that.

While Disk Utility won't write the Newton formatted .dmg back to a ATA
card, thanks to the recommendations from the 68Kmla folk, we had two ideas:

1) use compact flash ATA cards with a PCMCIA adaptor.  Much cheaper.

2) Use the sudo dd command in Terminal.

Details on how to do this can be found here:

Currently listening to audio notes on a ATA image created and modified
in Einstein, and now listening to those audio notes on my legacy Newton.

Notes that went from Newton to Einstein via ATA cards, and now from
Einstein to Newton.

"There and back again"

Enjoy!
