Hi Matt,

I imagine that it might work, but I doubt the extra capabilities would be enabled.

I speculate that the backlight is turned on and off using an I/O pin, and that there's a driver in NOS2.0 that knows which pin and toggles it on demand.  NOS1.3 would likely lack that driver, and so the MP120 ROM wouldn't be able to control the backlight.

I suspect that the additional RAM in the 130 would suffer a similar fate: the MP120 ROM would likely have an "end of RAM" address baked in, and the fact there there was more available would be invisible to it.

A bit of investigation with Einstein would probably let you confirm these guesses ...
