I was wondering about this, because with external power (over USB with a NewtCOM dongle) the display doesn't sleep. Should I be worried about burn in or overheating something ?

I'll try and keep mine available as long as I can. The 'watcher' plugin seems handy for this... But it's currently hanging off the oldest WiFi AP I could find in my "box of bits" that would let it connect and also do MAC filtering so it's at least a little secure !

I was wondering about trying to modernize the nHTPd (and Note viewer) defaults - like the DOCTYPE and missing `viewport` META in the header. Adding both would make it look nicer on mobile, for instance.
