[NTLK] ProjectNewtonberg

While researching NewtonBook conversions, I was reminded of Project
Newtonberg; a project by  Rob West who converted hundreds of Project
Gutenberg texts into NewtonBook format, probably in the late '90s.

His site was at members.aa.net/~robwest/pn/ -- which is completely gone
now. No Wayback Machine snapshots either. From what I can piece together,
he didn't host the books himself (not enough server space) but maintained a
directory of links to NewtonBooks hosted on AMUG's FTP and other sites.
Most of those servers are gone too.

Does anyone remember this project, or Rob West? I'm curious what the scope
actually was -- how many titles, which ones, whether any of those
conversions survive somewhere.
