[NTLK] Newton 2000/2100 and NS Basic

Well, I *thought* that did the trick.
Changing the extension from .pkg to .newtonpkg allows me to see the packages available for installing, but when I select a package to be installed, I get nothing; no response.
If I try on the 2000 side, I see the dialog come up that it is installing, but no progress shows up on the progress bar.
If I try on the NCX app side, the directory window disappears and nothing else happens.

Please send any ideas or advice you may have!
