Depends on what backup package you are using. SBM Utilties, can backup just some data or the whole card. In general though, when you backup a card, the packages won't be unless you check a box when doing the backup. Also a backup only does one slot at a time regardless. While the Newton will put it all together when you use the data, they are still seperate.
Also while soupmover is a cool tool, you can usually do this from the extras and viewing by data. Tapping on any of the little safe icons will give you options to move all the data to card or internal for different soups such as dates, notes, etc.
