[NTLK] Newton 2100 battery issue

Hi All,

Managed to source a 2100 (which will sort out the memory issues running
MoreInfo), but have run into a small snag.

Initially the rechargeable battery wouldn’t pop out so I pulled it apart
and removed the battery (had leaked and jammed inside).  Cleaned the
contacts up and put in the alkaline batteries holder from my 2000 and got
nothing.

Found a Newton OMP charger and plugged that in (after removing the alkaline
batteries), Newton fires up.  Grabbed the dead rechargeable from the 2000,
and I get charging at the bottom (not charging though).

Any reason why the old rechargeable is seen but the alkaline won’t work?
