A short Sunday update:

JLCPCB sent me the first batch of boards. Unfortunately I messed up and three tiny components are placed wrong (my fault, JLCPCB even warned me, but I didn't see it). I am too old to rotate three components at 1.2mm x 0.8mm on each 240°C hot PCB, so I decided to order a fixed batch. Considering I paid 180 Euros for a car key that I lost while walking the dog, this PCBs are really cheap... .

The firmware is coming along great. I have transferred 800kByte packages via NCX to the Newton without hiccups and backed up and restored the entire machine. Screenshots still fail, crashing NCX. Could that be an NCX issue? NTK via BasiliskII also works.
