This is great progress Matthias!

I have been following it for a while, but haven't had the opportunity
to comment.

I think this and batteries were my biggest frustration when I got into
the newton platform and you have solved the first part.

I have been kicking around the idea of a Lithium Ion replacement
battery that is 3d Printed or casted with a USBC built into the side.

Thanks for keeping the old newts going! and more importantly for
making this project open source!
