The https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AA_battery says
"An AA cell measures 49.5–50.5 mm (1.95–1.99 in) in length, including the
button terminal—and 13.7–14.5 mm (0.54–0.57 in) in diameter."
Sorry to burst your Bubble, but the 18650 cells designation means 65.0 mm
in length and 18 mm in diameter, quite a bit more than AA.
