In general yes, you are correct, Dennis, but sometimes people do not remember that during the summer time in UK the GMT is not used. Instead of GMT the BST is used in UK, and that is +1 to GMT/UTC. The proper GMT is used during the winter time. And that can be confusing.

So, yes, GMT is UTC, but UTC is better in description because we will avoid that confusion with that GMT/BST…

Anyway, our event will start 16:00 UTC

Berlin - 18:00
Paris - 18:00
New York - 12:00
Ottawa - 12:00
Calgary - 10:00
Sydney - 2:00
