Adam brings up a good point. Steve Capps tells a story of how he was called to testify about his Newton patents in Apple’s battle with Samsung, so they may still use those. However, it’s possible that that is ancient history enough that we could still try. Anyone know how long patents are good for in the USA? I thought 20 years but I might be wrong.
