I don’t remember the exact name, it’s run but a guy named Limows, a small private museum of various old computers. 

In Russia there’s quite a bunch of private collectors, mostly around central areas, doing their small private museums open to everyone and taking out some stuff to conferences and other places for people to see and play on. 

State museums of course would just shove it behind a glass panel with a huge “Do Not Touch/Photo/Look/Breathe” sign on it which would be a waste of a perfectly good Mac...

Most likely that your area might have someone similar with a museum kind of thing, or if not, at least someone who takes their collection out for people to play with a lot — that would be a good choice probably.

Of course I still kept my laptops and Newts, in hopes that eventually I’ll return to pick them up or have anything else to do with them. In hindsight should’ve probably taken out the eMate battery pack, but oh well... that half year was too stressful almost on a blockbuster movie scale, so I couldn’t think of such detail :-)
