[NTLK] "Mobile" power supply for eMate 300

Dear list,

I have accquired an eMate 300 and like it very much :) Unfortunately the battery pack is gone. Small wonder after 30+ years.

The obvious way to fix this is to replace / rework the battery pack. I wonder, if there is a way arround this, e.g. supplying the eMate from a powerbank.
