Let’s see ...

Sean O’Shaughnessy started the list in 1997 on his own server.

Planet Newton took over hosting in 1999.

After the Planet Newton server failed in 2001, Victor Rehorst and Paul Guyot “executed a coup” and launched a brand new NewtonTalk site and list one server graciously provided by Bill Shamam through Media Temple.

I took over the whole thing from Victor and Bill in 2007, moving to a new server at Media Temple in November of 2009.

And then this latest move.

So, that’s 4 moves across 5 servers over 23 years, not including the secondary “emergency” lists that were set up during the dark Planet Newton times.
