- As I already told you live a few days ago, I'm having a hard time managing my schedule this year, my project to rebuild a house almost four centuries old is much more time-consuming than I thought. As a result, I don't know if I would be involved in this new edition of the WONC, preparing a good topic takes time. I have a few too many Newton projects in progress, which unfortunately will not be finalized by the time of the conference. I will certainly be present at the conference as an "audience". But I don't think I'll have anything interesting enough to present by then.

- Why talk about it face to face?
On the contrary, it may be interesting for everyone here to talk and say what topics they would like to see discussed at this conference, even if one of the topics will be Einstein given how Matthias has taken the project forward. I think that many other topics are to be expected
For my part, here are a few topics I would like to see addressed...
- Noah's project "Love Notes to Newton" the next...
- Where is Einstein going, what is expected of him and what would be possible or not to do with him in the future?
- What applications will ever be compatible with Einstien?
- What future for the real Newton MessagePad?
- What (software) projects are in progress, where would you like to see on Newton?
- What (material) projects are in progress, or what material projects would you like to see on Newton (depends on the answer to "What future for the real Newton MessagePad"...). 
These are just tracks of subjects...

> My another idea is to prepare some kind of souvenirs for all participants: t-shirt, stickers, Conference ID, etc… I’m thinking about two options: (1) Some ’fee/ticket’ for all participants (to cover costs related with that souvenirs), (2) kind of mini-shop (everyone will be able to choose whether they want to buy a souvenir). Please tell me what do you think?
- Concerning the commercial aspects of WONC and other GNUM (T-Shirt, stickers...). Personally I would prefer that this be managed under the cover of an entity such as an association, as it was the case in the past with the Worldwide Newton Association (WNA), created by Adam, Alain, Frank, Grant, Larry, Paul, Ronnie... and many other well known names of the Newton community. The conferences of the time (which were physical) were run by the WNA. (http://web.archive.org/web/20091006151304/http://worldwide-newton.asso.eu.org/) Today our community is much smaller, and I think it would be nice if all the efforts (be they financial or other (work on projects for example)) were brought together under one roof and then debated and redistributed for the common good. It is up to all of you to see...

- However, I have no problem with you suggesting financial support if you need it to cover certain costs. 
But it is the same with other projects... I am thinking for example of Einstein, which will undoubtedly be the future of Newton for almost all users. Matthias has been doing a lot of work for several years, and it would also be nice to reward him in some way, just as we could have done with Paul's initial work, without which Einstein would not exist. That's where we see the interest that a structure could have to organize this kind of thing a bit.

- Pawel, comme je te l'ai déjà dit en direct il y a quelques jours, j'ai beaucoup de mal à gérer mon emplois du temps cette année, mon projet de reconstruire une maison de près de quatre siècles est beaucoup plus chronophage que je le pensais. De de ce fait, je ne sais pas si j'interviendrais à cette nouvelle édition de la WONC, préparer un bon sujet prend du temps. J'ai un peu trop de projets Newton qui sont en cours, qui malheureusement ne seront pas finalisés d'ici la conférence. Je serais certainement présent à la conférence en tant que "public". Mais je ne pense pas avoir quelque chose d'assez intéressant à présenter d'ici là.

Personnellement je préférerais que cela soit gérer sous couvert d'une entité comme une association, comme ce fut le cas dans le passé avec la Worldwide Newton Association (WNA), qu'avaient créer Adam, Alain, Frank, Grant, Larry, Paul, Ronnie… et bien d'autre noms bien connus de la communauté Newton. (http://web.archive.org/web/20091006151304/http://worldwide-newton.asso.eu.org/) Aujourd'hui notre communauté est bien plus petite, et je pense qu'il serait bien que tous les efforts (qu'ils soient financiers ou autres (travaux sur des projets par exemple)) soient réunis sous une même enceinte, puis débattus et redistribué dans l’intérêt commun. L'idée est lancée à vous tous de voir…

- Par contre, je n'ai aucun souci avec le fait que tu proposes que l'on te soutienne financièrement si tu en as besoin pour couvrir certains frais. 
Mais il en va de même avec d'autres projets… je pense par exemple à Einstein, qui sera à n'en pas douter l'avenir de Newton pour presque tous les utilisateurs. Matthias fourni depuis plusieurs années un travail considérable, il serait également bien de le récompenser d'une manière ou d'une autre, tout comme on aurait pu le faire avec le travail initial de Paul sans qui Einstein n'existerait pas. C'est là où l'on voit l'intérêt que pourrait avoir une structure pour organiser un peu ce genre de chose.

- Pourquoi en parler en tête à tête ?
Au contraire il peut être intéressant de tous ici parlent et disent quels sujets ils souhaiteraient voir abordés lors de cette conférence, même si l'un des sujets sera Einstein vu comment Matthias à fait progresser le projet. Je pense que bien d'autres sujets doivent être attendus.

Pour ma part voici par exemple quelques sujets que j'aimerais voir abordés…
- Le projet de Noah "Love Notes to Newton" the next…
- Où va Einstein, ce que l'on en attends et ce qui serait possible où pas de faire avec dans l'avenir…
- Quelle applications en seront jamais compatibles avec Einstien ?
- Quel avenir pour les vrais Newton MessagePad…
- Quel projets (logiciels) sont en cours, où quels projets aimerions voir sur Newton…
- Quel projets (matériels) sont en cours, où quels projets matériels aimerions voir sur Newton (dépends de la réponse à "Quel avenir pour les vrais Newton MessagePad"… 
Ce sont juste des pistes de sujets…
