[NTLK] MP 2X00: A new kind of Duracell battery?

Hello Christian, Forrest, and Newton Friends,

I have started using the Duracell Optimum batteries in my OMP and MP2000. Why? Isn't your Little Green Friend worth it? : )

My Newtons are more for show and occasional trips to the local Apple Store to impress the 'kids' now than anything else. The batteries last for months with the Newtons in standby mode For any tinkering, I just plug in my eMate and I'm off and running.

As for next gen battery tech, I'm sure Duracell has a crack marketing team already on it, but if they want, they can by Optimum+ from me for about $1M.

That’s easy. Either Super, Mega or Ultra—Optimum.

I would think it would start with Super and go through each, in turn.

Great to see a response from you, although like me these days, I know you are always lurking.

Is there something better than optimum? Will the next battery improvement mean batteries cost more than my Commandante coffee grinder?
