[NTLK] MP 2X00: A new kind of Duracell battery?

Lately I've been mostly using Duracell Ultra AA cells in my battery sled. Now I see they have a new version, called "Optimum", with a lot of advertising yada-yada about "up to 200% extra life" and "extra power".

I'm currently getting 2-1/2 to 3 weeks out of a set of Ultras, depending on backlight use. Does anyone know from testing if these are worth the extra cost?

Bonus question: If these new ones are supposed to be "Optimum", what will Duracell call the next improvement or breakthrough in battery technology? What's more optimal than optimum? Is there something better than optimum? Will the next battery improvement mean batteries cost more than my Commandante coffee grinder?

Shalom,

Christian
